It's October and you know what that means: lot's of good old horror movie fun. Halloween is just right around the corner and all the great decorations are up. The fall leaves are littering the ground and the streets are looking like the backdrop to the original Halloween movie with Jamie Lee Curtis. 

Every year when October comes around and Halloween rises up from the grave I always seem to miss out on watching a fistful of scary movies. This year I'm going to go about it all different and command myself to watch more of them and new ones that I have never seen. 

I'm choosing to watch a lot of Zombie flicks and try to discover a few new ones in the process. The past couple weeks or so I've been increasingly thinking about the zombie apocalypse and how I'm should prepare for it but of course more on that later... 

My mission (with a Halloween deadline) if I choose to accept it is to watch as many zombie movies as I can and then pick some favorites. I will probably do a top 5 or 10 list at the end of this and general musings as I go. Stay tuned?

I would love to get ideas though of some good ones. If you have a favorite, lot's of favorites or even if you know some crappy B movie ones I would be very excited to hear about them! Email me, comment, Tweet or throw small pebbles - anything that gets my attention.
